Inline Formatting with ODS Markup

Inline Formatting with ODS Markup

SAS Global Forum, 2009

ABSTRACT

Explore the power of inline formatting in ODS. And, learn about the super powers of inline formatting with ODS markup and ODS measured; see how easy it is to make your reports look better than ever. With new and improved syntax, ODS inline formatting is better and more powerful. Learn how to use it and extend it to do even more than you dreamed possible.

This was one of my most entertaining papers ever. It fully explores ODS inline formatting while also exploring the meaning of Lewis Carroll's 'Jabberwocky'. Not everything is as it might first appear.

The paper concludes with coverage of how inline formatting and tagsets interact. Inline formatting with tagsets is far more transparent than you might think. There is a huge easter egg in this paper. I'll leave it up to you to find. Meanwhile enjoy the poem and the woodcuts!

As always, the pdf slides do no justice to the Keynote presentation from which they were created.
